Hi, for those of you who viewed our youtube of Scott and some iPods here's a bit more info on the video.
First off we (HermitWorks) are an independent video game developer and we use the Quake 3 engine. We wanted to see Quake 3 run on the iPod Touch as a first step to getting our game Space Trader running on the iPod.
So here's some facts:
1. yes, it's real. :)
2. we're not happy with the controls yet, but I'm amazed how quickly people adapt. and the controls *will* be awesome.
3. and yes, the iPod is going to be an awesome gaming device so start saving your money.

great to hear. But just because you adapted Quake 3 to the Ipod to see if you could get Space Traders to work... doesn't mean ull never release Quake 3? Does it? Both would be sweet =3, eh eh.... And if you ever need some one to test online with from a far distance.... Give me a shout out kay.

Thanks for the details, a release to installer.app would be great although I just don't know if it's going to happen from what I read today on Engadget and several other sources.

If you're developing for open source, can you release it to installer, or post the app to your website? I'd be glad to beta test;). [I'm sure you get a lot of that]
WHEN WHEN WHEN, i swear i kill you when you not release this soon as possible :) i'll buy an iphone in the next months, you have to be ready then. This is GREAT Work Guys.
